Address quality and address management

We will work on a new address management mechanism.

We plan 

  1. to set up a system that indicates the quality of the addresses.
  2. to allow a user to force an address even if our address verification systems consider that address to be incorrect. This address would then have a lower quality, which would then impact the routing and massification of this mail, but it could still be sent.

When we have postal error return : - an operator scans the returned document - then we add the scan to the original shipment, so the user may view the reject in the web interface In this feature we add new mechanisms for people using content management softwares to send automatically the scan to their applications (ftp folder, api...)

Duplicate job

Sometimes you have issues in your service, a box is not correctly configured, an address area is not well positionned... The administrator change the configuration but you need again to upload all your files.

The goal is to add a button from a job and click on 'Duplicate', it will trigger a new job on same service using files on same boxes.

New way to display filters

We are working on the UX to change the way we display the filters.
At the moment we have two main types of filters :

  1. database filters : filters that trigger a database query, the database
  2. screen filters : filters that just act on the result of a query (no new query is triggered)

But it's even more complex because some database filters can be combined, other are unique and can not be combined.
A new set of colors/icon will help the user understand all that.

From the deliveries screen, we will add a new button to dowload all the elements.
A zip file is received and inside, the user will have all the PDFs and a CSV listing the elements.

Plan a delivery in the future

The objective is to plan a delivery in the future in 5, 10 or 30 days for example

We also do a change in calendar. It won't be possible to choose the current day. It will be 'As soon as possible'. Depending on the channel (MAIL, DIGITAL...) and multiple channel orders, the current day may be complex to compute. So we propose the 'as soon as possible'. Before your cut-off (noon by default for 'printed' channels) then it will be produced on the same day.

It appears that Microsoft Excel can not handle UTF-8 files on double click We need to import, choose the encoding... So for the next version, we add a BOM to the file and Microsoft Excel will understand the encoding setting.
